A while later Dr. Rubin came by, Jun 8 (con't), F - but by that time,
all we wanted to do was to be alone. We did not view Jennifer after she died - we wanted to remember her as
she was when she was alive. She will live in our hearts that way forever. As unbearable as those last
few hours were, they were far better than to have not been there, and received a call that Jennifer had died.
God wanted Jennifer with Him in heaven, but he allowed us to be with her at the end.
Just before we left the hospital, I called Phyllis Bullock to let her know that we would not be able to keep our 2:00 PM I appointment with Mr. Beebe, because Jennifer just died. I called Pete at work to let him know what had happened, and asked him to come home and help us. Jo called her mother. I wanted to tell mom and dad the sad news once Pete was home, but I forgot that our phone was on call forwarding, and when Jo's mom called back, she got mom and dad. I called Dianne at work, and asked her to let everyone know. Pete and Penny came over with the kids - Rusten has the Chicken Pox as Tammy had last week. Pete and Penny made all of the arrangements with the hospital and Bolinger funeral home. Jennifer is to be buried tomorrow morning at Westpark Cemetery. A representative of Bolinger's came over to the house to work out the details. We called Rev. Rough - he came over for a while. We let Andy across the street know. Jimmy and Maria from next door came over for a while. I called Jim Wright in New Jersy, but he was not home - he called me back later - Patty cried. Also called Jerry Hilt.
We got a call from Metro's HOPE group - they did not know that Jennifer had died. I talked with Gerrie
Stuckert from work. I asked that instead of sending flowers, we wished people to donate money towards an
SX-70 camera that could be donated to the NICU in Jennifer's name. It meant so much to Jo while she was still
confined to Deaconess to be able to see a Polaroid picture of Jennifer. The camera that the NICU has now can
not take close up pictures, but the SX-70 will be able to. Pete and Penny stayed with us late into the
evening - I'm not sure how we would have managed without their help. Both Jo's mom, and my mom and dad were
with us also. Jo called some of her relatives to let them know.

| Jun 9, Sa - | We buried Jennifer today in Section 4B of Westpark Cemetery. Rev.
Rough from Simpson United Methodist Church held the gravesite services. Jennifer is in site 89 of the baby
section. Mom and Dad, Jo's mom, Pete and Penny with Rusten and Tammy, Gene and Sandy, Marcia, Karen, Aunt
Katherin and Uncle Dan were there with us. We wanted a small funeral with only the immediate family members
present. Dr. King had told me that I was overly concerned, I only hope that God will forgive me for not being
concerned enough.
- At Metro, Jennifer was transferred to Section 4B - - Jennifer Died June 8th, and was buried June 9th - - We did not choose Plot 4B 89. It was assigned by the Cemetery -
