us again. Jennifer's on her own again on room air. Met Pete and Penny in lobby on way out. They had
both kids with them. We wished Tammy a happy birthday. Took Jo's mom home to get some of her things.

| May 13, Su - | Jo got mother's day cards from Jennifer and I. We went to see
Jennifer at 2:00 PM.
She was out of the incubator - her temp was in the 35's, and they had her all bundled
up. They also had a cap of sorts on her head. We asked that she be put back into the isolette - ok
per Dr. Orenstein. Dr. Orenstein happened to be there on other business. Jennifer had a lot of mucus
mixed with red blood. We left to go to Pete and Penny's for Mother's Day get-together. we went back
to see Jennifer afterwards. She was much worse - her heart rate was in the 70's, and she turned bluish
occasionally. She was moved back to room 1 for closer observation - she is very congested. When she
was suctioned, more fresh blood appeared, but they did not know from where. A culture was taken of the
mucus. We left about 8:.30 PM. Called everyone to let them know that Jennifer was worse again. We
called the NICU unit several times latter in the evening. O2 - 58% / I/V RT 20 / Wt 6# 9 0z. When we
mentioned to Dr. King at a later date that Jennifer seemed to have set backs every time she is removed from the
isolette, she said that we were being overly concerned, and that our observations were merely that of coincidence.

| May 13, Su - |
Many people at work have expressed concern for Jennifer - its good
to know that there are those who care - and share one's concerns. We went to see Jennifer with both grandmas
and dad. HR - 140 / RR - 100 / Wt - 6# 6 Oz. She seems much better - still much mucus, but less
blood. She is in the isolette - temp 36.6. She still has cap on her head. This afternoon, supposedly the eye
doctor was by - eyes seem normal.
